Nana Annan
Aside from running her own successful photography, and together with her husband, executive coaching business, Coterie Ambassador Nana Annan has been Chief Operating Officer at the Boys’ Club of New York (BCNY) since October 2013. In this role, she is responsible for executing strategic plans to strengthen and streamline the organization’s management capacity. Additionally, Nana oversees a wide range of operational areas including Human Resources, Information Technology, Facilities, Compliance, and Risk Management. She also serves on the executive board at the Foundation for Orthopedics and Complex Spine (FOCOS). In June 2019, Nana was honored with the Alumni Chair award for excellence in her career by Boston University School of Law.
Prior to attending Boston University School of Law, Nana worked for ten years at investment bank, Morgan Stanley, in a variety of project management and IT positions. While at Boston University School of Law, Nana was a student attorney at Greater Boston Legal Services where she focused on cases related to Asylum and Human Rights Law. She also did semester-long internships at the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), in Washington D.C. and Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) in Boston, MA. After law school, Nana became a Communications Strategy Consultant on the campaign team for the current President of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo where she worked directly with him and senior staff members on a broad range of proposed government policies.
Nana has presented at various retreats and conferences on a number of legal and business topics. She has been published in the last eight Munaluchi bridal magazines and on numerous occasions, has been featured on national and international platforms and media. This past summer, Nana photographed music legend Spinderella for the cover of the Munaluchi Bride magazine.
Nana has a Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Spelman College. She lives in New Jersey with her husband and two children
