Synergy is the creation of a whole that is greater than the simple sum of its parts. That is what we have within the Coterie. We are stronger together and all the relationship capital that we build and walk away with from this retreat will be what propels us forward as a collective into our future.
This retreat was amazing for me as it showed me what I am a part of. It helped me to recognize that I am not alone in my business and that all I need to do is reach out because there are so many hands available to hold me up or carry me. I am looking forward to a fabulous year of collaborations and growth with colleagues who have becomes friends and to working with a platform that can define the next generation of wedding professional internationally.

The Coterie Retreat was an amazing event. The speakers were fantastic and shared a wealth of information that we could use in our businesses and lives. The networking was phenomenal. Everyone seemed opened and ready to make new connections and collaborative partnerships. The welcome party, white party and gala were fabulous. #CoterieRetreat15 was even more amazing than I imagined it would be! I wasn't able to attend the first one due to a scheduling conflict, but there was no way I was going to let anything stop me from attending this year. Being able to meet all of the "friendors" I've connected with via social media in person was a real treat. The accommodations in Barbados were top-notch. Looking at the view of the beach outside my balcony every morning is what dreams are made of! The parties were phenomenal! Elly B and her team truly outdid herself with creating a luxurious environment for the awards gala. The guest speakers, panel discussions, and focus groups were awe-inspiring. I mean, what other opportunity would I have to not only see Mindy Weiss give a presentation live, but to also chat with her one-on-one?! I walked away with a wealth of knowledge that will only propel my brand into 2016 and beyond. I haven't been this excited about the possibilities since I started my company. I couldn't be more grateful for this feeling of hope and achievement!

The Coterie retreat was an amazing experience! It was more than what I expected. It was great to finally connect in person to the wedding professionals I associated with via social media. I made new friends and business associates. There was never once a feeling of competition.
