Elana's number one goal is to create a wedding experience that honors her client’s vision while striving to make each of her client’s weddings unique.

Such blogs as Style Me Pretty, Essence, Ebony, Aisle Perfect, Black Bride, Wedding Wire and The New York Post have featured while ABC, CBS & NBC affiliate stations along with NPR & Radio One have all turned to her for her expertise on such topics as Covid-19 & The wedding industry, Diversity & Inclusion in the wedding industry, Wedding trends and so much more. 

Winner of the highest honors from The Knot & Wedding Wire, Elana prides herself on her accomplishments. As a former member of the International Live Events Association (ILEA) she won Best Wedding in 2016 & 2017 and Event of the Year in 2016 which lead her to served on the board as Vice President of Programs & Education. Currently sits as the Director of Communities for the National Society of Black Wedding & Event Professionals. 

Community over competition is something that Elana lives and breathes. Dedicated to uplifting fellow wedding planners and professionals, she developed Elana Walker Education to help carry out her mission. While her continued focus is on being an active participant of the growth and progression of the wedding industry, she is also a huge animal lover and enjoys traveling with her 2 son's, Tré & Clark and bingeing her favorite Netflix shows.
